Make It Happen
So that hobby, the one you spend every Saturday on? Ever thought that might make for a business?
Maybe you should, as Tim O’Reilly, CEO of O’Reilly Media, the force behind Make Magazine and Maker Faire, points out in this video sketchbook from the Kauffman Foundation.
"I think that self-motivated spirit is what drives entrepreneurs, and we need to have it drive everyone," O'Reilly said. "Because if you do something useful, if you do something for love, some good percentage of those things will actually turn into a business.”
Not bad advice for the would-be entrepreneur.
