Fashion Clones Make You Want to Shake It
It isn’t the runway models’ faults—their job is to spotlight the fashion designers' creations. But most appear thoroughly joyless as they walk down the catwalk, teetering on high heels, hips jutted forward, without a smile in sight.
That’s probably why the Prada Spring/Summer 2011 video campaign—which shows models for the brand dancing like no one’s watching in a piece that simultaneously moves, lightning fast, from one outfit to the next—is so much fun.
Believe it or not, there is not one but four different model-clones in the video below.
The Prada Spring/Summer 2011 Video Campaign took the prize at the Fashion 2.0 Awards in New York last night, a party that drew 450 fashion and tech types to kick off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
Fashion startups wondering who else is doing social media right can check out the list of other winners selected by the aforementioned tech and fashion crowd. We're keeping an eye on "DKNY PR Girl," who won two.
