Chaotic Moon Skateboard Officially Makes Windows 8 Cool
Do not let children watch this video or you will be forced to buy them this product.
The "We're Smarter Than You" guys over at Chaotic Moon have taken a shopping list of strangely mismatched items and mashed them together to create one of the coolest devices we've ever seen;
Shopping List:
- Motorized longboard
- Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect
- Samsung Windows 8 with (unreleased) full voice control
- A phidget interface module (an API-enabled, programmable "block.")
- Four all-terrain tires
They call it the "Board of Awesomeness." An invisible web of technology surrounds the skater and senses what he or she wants to do. Video recognition, speech recognition, location data, accelerometer, and more, take this board to speeds as high as 32 miles per hour.
Not to seem unappreciative of Chaotic Moon's innovation, but now all we need is a bit of "gaze interaction" technology to shoot lasers from our eyes and we're set for pretty much every little boy's dream!
The board was officially announced at today's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
