VC Firm Debuts Ridiculous Music Video
It's a shame the MTV Video Music Awards weren't one week later, because what you're about to see tops anything Katy Perry or Justin Bieber produced this year.
Here's the official music video for the soon-to-be-number-one hit single, I'm a VC, written and produced by four venture capitalists at the Foundry Group, based in Boulder, Colorado. The song takes numerous jabs at the quartet's own profession and the video—which unabashedly spoofs SNL's popular series of digital shorts—includes an array of costumes, bathroom scenes, and dance moves that you just have to see to believe.
While the video is certainly meant to be taken lightly, the Foundry Group is already well known for some serious investments, including stakes in Zynga, Cheezburger, SimpleGeo, and Urban Airship. But should those companies all crash and burn, perhaps there is a recording deal in the group's future—after all, someone did just sign Pauly D.
