There’s No Place Like GagaVille

Lady Gaga has partnered with social-gaming company Zynga on her own section in FarmVille.

Fields of gemstone-studded fruits, a horse with a pink tail, and a farmer who discovers his inner cross-dresser: Welcome to FarmVille as only Lady Gaga herself could have imagined it.

The music star with the gasp-inspiring wardrobe is helping Zynga, the company behind the social-gaming phenomenon FarmVille, promote GagaVille, which can as of today be found inside the game itself.

In GagaVille, you can grow your own jewels and buy Gaga’s new album with $25 in Zynga game cards. Gaga is also releasing tracks from Born This Way in the run-up to its May 23 release. By partnering with a gaming company, the songstress is borrowing a riff from Guns N’ Roses, which released its Shackler’s Revenge track on Rock Band 2 in 2008.

A promotional video for GagaVille on YouTube depicts a former cow town transformed by the star’s arrival. One farmer who wasn’t so sure about the newcomer at the beginning of the clip evolves into a little monster, pulling on a jeweled milking glove later on. “I just think it gives me a sense of power. Can you feel it?”
