First Bytes: Kindle, Motorola, Yahoo, Vudu

The Kindle 2 is here and, although the changes are minor, they do enhance the overall reading experience. But according to David Pogue, print isn't dead yet. [New York Times]

Motorola has sold Good Technology, the mobile messaging company it bought just two years ago, to the privately held mobile email provider Visto, which hopes it will help it better compete against Blackberry-maker Research In Motion (RIM). [Washington Post]

Yahoo is working to help marketers match users with ads as it has been under pressure for nearly a year as it held fruitless merger or partnership talks with Microsoft Corp, Google Inc and Time Warner Inc's AOL. [Wall Street Journal]

Vudu is now the first on-demand service to offer high-definition movies for download to own rather than only rent. [Cnet News]
