'Silicon Valley Rocks' -- Tech Bands, Good Cause
Kevin Maney writes: We're just about a week away from what's shaping up as one of the more interesting tech industry parties this fall -- a charity event called Silicon Valley Rocks. OK, OK -- I have a vested interest. I'll be playing a set with a local band, consisting of serial entrepreneur Andy Stack, DigiDesign general counsel John Given, and, filling in on bass for the traveling Bill Coats of White & Case, Patrick Koppula, the CEO of Web company ffwd.com. A half-dozen bands will share the stage, and most of the musicians are folks who work in the tech industry.
