E-books May Get O-Factor Boost: Oprah Expected to Endorse Kindle
presidential candidates -- is expected to give e-books a major boost Friday by endorsing the Amazon Kindle on her show, reports the Financial Times.
A video trailer on Amazon.com teases the next episode of her show, with Oprah promising to unveil her new "favorite gadget" that she describes as "life changing."
Amazon says in an e-mail that its founder Jeff Bezos will also be a guest on the show.
While Amazon has said that a new version of the Kindle won't be released until early next year, this endorsement should bode well for holiday sales.
