iPhone's Dropped Calls

Kevin Maney writes: I'd had a number of calls with friends who were using iPhones get mysteriously dropped over and over. Turns out it's part of a global trend. The iPhone 3G chips have a bug that can cause them to lose calls when shifting between 3G and 2G networks. A software fix is supposed to be ready next week.

In the meantime, iPhone users are complaining online. Media stories about frustrated users are surfacing from Australia to the UK to Canada. □
