Digg Stalled, Off to Google?
Kevin Maney remembers: Hey, almost exactly two years ago, Business Week put Digg founder Kevin Rose on its cover and said Digg was worth $200 million. And now Google is supposedly, according to TechCrunch, negotiating to buy Digg for...$200 million.
Guess the past two years haven't been that good for Digg. I seem to recall that it was supposed to be "the new New York Times" and wipe other forms of news presentation off the map. Hm. Didn't happen.
But don't you love Silicon Valley hubris? Makes the tech world go round.
