One Quarter of Americans Don't Use the Internet

Kevin Maney cogitates: Hm, so one-fourth of the U.S. population never uses the Internet, according to a new Pew Internet and American Life study. That would be about the same number of people who approve of President Bush. Hey, I wonder the same people never use the Internat and approve of Bush!

It's also true that a quarter of Americans never recycle anything, one-fourth of the country would have plastic surgery to improve their looks, and one-quarter don't read books.

Which is to say, you can pick just about anything and find a quarter of the population going against the grain.
