Ballmer Thinks Icahn Won't 'Mismanage' Yahoo? Is That a Joke?
Kevin Maney is amazed: Soooo, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is now in league with Carl Icahn in trying to buy at least part of Yahoo because Icahn would pick a board and CEO who would not "mismanage" Yahoo while a deal is getting done.
Right. And Ballmer believes this because...of the way Icahn's meddling in other companies made sure they didn't fall prey to that nasty old mismanagement problem? Let's see, the last company Icahn messed with was Motorola. And Motorola stock started 2008 at $16 a share and now sells for $7 a share. Mmm. That's some gooood management on the part of Icahn's people.
Just sayin'...
