Om 2.0 Envy
Blaise Zerega is jealous of Om Malik's new avatar . Om Malik over at GigaOm has posted his new avatar. He explains that it reflects his new, healthy lifestyle as he recovers from the heart attack he suffered last winter. He writes, "Gone is the old hat-wearing, cigar-chomping, newshound look. Instead, what you have is a simpler, more understated icon whose sparseness reflects my new mantra -- less is really more." Who knew he was not only good-looking, but handsome, too?
I wish Om Malik a continued recovery and compliment him on his new icon.
Now, how about the Tech Observer's (lack of) icons? For what it's worth, I've often thought that the T.O. contraption does kind of look like Sam Gustin... or is it Kevin Maney? From a certain angle, under the right light conditions, of course....
