Meanwhile, We'll Wait for Steve's Autobiography
The media is giving a decent amount of attention to a new -- and yet another -- book about Steve Jobs. This one is Inside Steve's Brain, by Leander Kahney. (Here's a good, deep review on News.com; another in USA Today.)
The reviews all raise the point that Jobs, famously a control freak when it comes to anything written about him, refused to be interviewed by the author. Same with other books about Jobs over the past decade. Which begs the question: Will he ever participate with any author? (Not likely, IMHO.) And if not, will he eventually write an autobiography? (I bet he does, but not till he's an old man, a la Tom Watson Jr.)
In the meantime, we're just left with other people guessing what's inside Steve's brain.
