Sorry, But Bluetooth Headsets ALWAYS Look Geeky
It's fairly hilarious that makers of Bluetooth headsets -- those hands-free earpieces that make you look like Captain Kirk's aide-de-camp -- are now trying to market the things as fashion statements.
I just got a pitch for the new Plantronics Discovery 925 headset, which the company claims "firmly plants the flag as a true fashion accessory-- it's truly a head turner! In an increasingly style-conscious world, you will stay ahead of the fashion curve with the elegant jewelry-inspired design."
Yeah, well, perhaps someday society will think that electronics devices attached to your head make you look hot. That day is not here.
