Joost, Hulu, and the Struggle to Create Internet TV

My story about Joost and the Internet TV space is up on this site and will be in the April issue of the magazine.

The Net TV situation is moving fast. In the time since I closed the story, Hulu went live for the general public and Joost announced its live TV effort and on Friday ran through its first live test. YouTube announced live capabilities, rumors flew that Microsoft might buy UStream (another live video site), and Blinkx is close to unveiling its own Joost-like plans.

Still, the story hopefully captures the longer view of what Joost has done and what it plans to do, and how all that fits with the exploding Internet video market.
