BusinessWeek, the Indicator (But Which Way?)
BusinessWeek is ALL OVER the widget craze. It's big, big, BIG.
Yep. Just like the 2005 BW cover proclaiming, "Blogs will change your business." Height of the blog craze. Hm. Have they changed most people's businesses? Or when the mag put Digg's Kevin Rose on the cover in 2006 -- the leader of tech's new "brat pack." Height of the Digg craze. Well, Digg's done OK, but it's hardly setting the industry on fire.
So just remember: widgets. They're big. Huge. Um, for now.
