Virtual But Not So Secure?

Was in Huntsville, Ala., last night, sitting at a dinner with about a half-dozen Huntsville tech executives. Next to me was Everett Brooks, VP at Avocent, which helps run big data centers for companies. And, you know, we got into some good dinner conversation about VMware and the virtualization of servers. It seemed more interesting after several glasses of Merlot.

Anyway, Everett was saying something I hadn't heard much before -- that while VMware saves money on servers, it opens up security problems, mostly because engineers don't know a lot about how to prevent them. And then, voila!, I open up Slashdot today and see there is a big discussion on the same topic...
