"Duh" Survey of the Day

I'm sorry -- is it a surprise to anyone that 55% of U.S. adults would not want to go more than a few days without going on the Web? Ad agency JWT just released a survey saying they found that "the use of cell phones and the Internet were becoming more and more an essential part of life with 48 percent of respondents agreeing they felt something important was missing without Internet access."

How much did it cost to do that survey? Pretty much anyone could've told them that. To think this is news at this stage of the Web's evolution would be like doing a survey about TV watching in the 1960s and being amazed that most adults incorporated it into their lives.
