In-depth Look at the OLPC XO Laptop

Laptop magazine got its hands on one of NIck Negroponte's $100 laptops -- which,now that they're in production, actually cost $188. Though that's still pretty darn cheap. Laptop ran the thing through its paces and has a lot of comments and photos. Couple of interesting notes: The crank handle for generating power, which got so much attention, is gone. It was just too impractical. But it does plug into a solar panel. And, Laptop finds that the Linux-based Sugar operating system is, um, sweet.
