How To Toast
OK, so I understand needing the manual just to figure out how to turn on a new Sony flat-screen TV. But I may have run across the apparent depths of some people's technological ineptitude when I bought a simple, one-button Hamilton Beach toaster over the weekend. It comes with a manual. And in it is a section titled, "How to toast."
1. Plug toaster into electrical outlet.
2. Place bread or bagel in slots.
3. At the end of the toasting cycle, the bread will pop up automatically.
4. To stop the toasting cycle sooner, lift up bread lifter.
I'd like to meet someone who actually needed those instructions...
