iPhone Hype Seems a Lot Like...
...hmmm...the Apple Newton maybe?
Hey, I was there at the Newton's big unveiling in Boston. John Sculley's shining moment in the media glare. I tried out a test version for a while. It was the only piece of technology I've ever used that would draw women over to ask about it. (I suspect this could be the real reason men buy an iPhone.)
Now, of course, Newton is one of the all-time great tech flops. Wonder if iPhone will wind up on the list.
