Don't You Love It When Tech Monopolies Fight?

Last month, Microsoft tried to tell the federal government that Google is too powerful. So maybe this is payback: Google has complained to the Justice Department that Microsoft Vista is hurting competition in desktop search.

I have to say, Google has a point. After using Vista for a while, I've almost stopped using Google Desktop. But in my mind, that's because Microsoft has finally made desktop search as good as it should have been years ago. Google got its nose under that tent mainly because Windows search had been so bad.
