Welcome to Hollywood--Now Duck and Cover!
Merchants and residents of the bustling strip (the panhandlers, the fake superheroes, the low riders) of Hollywood Boulevard around Highland were greeted this week with a little heads-up concerning next Monday through Wednesday (September 10-13). The gist is, all hell will be breaking loose.
It arrived under the logo of John Hancock, the new Will Smith starrer, and the studio making it, Columbia.
Here's the film's precis from Imdb:
A hard-living superhero (Will Smith) who has fallen out of favor with the public enters into a questionable relationship with the wife ( Charlize Theron) of the public relations professional (Jason Bateman) who's trying to repair his image.

On the 11th and 12th, will have a helicopter hovering above the boulevard...
And, after a couple calming paragraphs about the safety and security measures, the piece de resistance: " We understand this will be something of an imposition...'
Hey, anything for Big Willy!
No native Angeleno ever walks anywhere anyhow, so skid away! We've got our cell phone camera at the ready.
