What Was the Fat Lady Singing On "The Sopranos"?
I'm still trying to process last night's Sopranos ending. I didn't feel the outrage expressed by others (and I don't have any plans to cancel my subscription), but I will admit that part of me craved something more concrete than the slam cut to black screen (although I'm starting to see the genius of it). However, I have been enjoying all Monday-morning chatter (say what you will about David Chase, but the man obviously knows how to get people talking). My favorite post so far comes from a reader on Hollywood Elsewhere, who claims that certain clues in the finale tell us definitively that Tony was whacked in the end.
Also, Variety has the early numbers on how many people watched the show. Guess what? There were a lot of them.
