$18,000,000: The amount of money the country of Venezuela is giving to Danny Glover make a movie about Toussaint Louverture, who led an 18th century revolt in Haiti. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez reportedly hopes that the historical epic, about a slave uprising, will help his effort to mobilize "world opinion against imperialism and western oppression." (Monday)

O: The number of commercials I actually watched when re-playing a recent episode of Lost on my DVR. (Tuesday)

$151,000,000: Spider-Man 3's opening weekend record, which Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End hopes to beat this weekend. (Wednesday)

250: The number of clips from Star Wars that Lucasfilm is making available online today at Starwars.com. Fans can take these clips and make "mash-ups" out of them, editing them with their own music to make new trailers, mini movies or whatever they want and post the new content on their MySpace pages or blogs. (Thursday)

$2,000,000,000 plus: The amount of money that Merrill Lynch analyst Jessica Reif Cohen estimates that all six major studios had from outside sources for film financing in 2006. (Friday)
