FunnyorDie.com Actually Funny
Remember Adam Sandler's short-lived comedy website Shnorff.com? Okay, neither do we. But it seems like A-list Hollywood comedians have finally started to figure out how to be funny on the net. Will Ferrell and Adam McKay--collectively known as Gary Sanchez Productions--have a new a new website called FunnyOrDie.com (funded by Sequoia Capital, the VC firm behind YouTube and Google). They beta launched it this past Thursday and since then, their short film The Landlord has generated more than 2 million streams. Landlord, which appears as soon as you hit the homepage, stars Ferrell, McKay and McKay's toddler daughter and is definitely worth watching. FunnyorDie.com also features video content uploaded by other users. My favorite clips (you rate what you watch to determine what stays on the site) are those featuring celebristud "Perry Hilton" played by actor Eric Christian Olsen of Dumb and Dumber fame (actually, can anyone actually become famous from making that movie?) Check his stuff out and "Remember, life's tasty."
