P&G's Olympic Decade
Procter & Gamble Co. will sponsor all the Olympic Games over the next 10 years.
The sponsorship will start with the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and will involve 22 billion-dollar P&G brands, including Pampers, Tide, Ariel, Always, Whisper, Crest, Pantene and Olay, according to a news release.
Terms weren't disclosed, but P&G is the eleventh major sponsor in the Olympic Partner program, following Dow Chemical, which signed on last week. Reuters reports that top Olympic sponsors can spend up to $100 million over four years.
More details on the Procter & Gamble 10-year Olympic sponsorship are available from the Cincinnati Business Courier.
