More Celebrities Boycott Arizona
Rage Against the Machine, Kanye West, Sonic Youth and Rise Against have said they will boycott Arizona over its new immigration law, which gives police more authority to question suspected illegal immigrants.
Filmmaker Michael Moore also part of the boycott effort. Hip-hop band Cypress Hill already canceled a Tucson show because of the law.
They join the cities of Los Angeles and Seattle and groups such as the National Council of La Raza and the Service Employees International Union in Arizona boycotts.
State tourism officials worry fallout from the law will result in canceled meetings and conventions.
More details on Arizona boycotts related to the new immigration law are available from the Phoenix Business Journal.
