ESPN Scores Most-Viewed Heisman Trophy Presentation

Maybe Tim Tebow is Superman?

ESPN's telecast of the Heisman Trophy presentation last Saturday was the cable network's most-viewed ever in households and total viewers, and tied for the highest-rated as the University of Florida sophomore quarterback won the coveted award.

Coverage of the annual show dedicated to the announcement of college football's most prestigious award averaged 2,972,000 households, 4,284,000 total viewers and a 3.1 rating. In addition, the telecast was the most-viewed ever in all male and adult demographics.

This year's Heisman coverage marks increases of 29 percent (vs. 2,309,000), 45 percent (vs. 2,309,000) and 19 percent (vs. 2.5), respectively, over last year.
