Dallas Cowboys Want to Host NCAA Basketball at New Stadium
Dallas Cowboys officials "plan to let the NCAA know this week that they intend to bid for the college basketball national championship," according to the
Dallas Morning News.
The NCAA has a Wednesday deadline for "intentions" to bid for the Division I men's and women's Final Fours from 2012-2016. Final bids are due in June.
The new football stadium is already slated to host the 2009 and 2010 Big 12 football title game, the Cotton Bowl Classic beginning in 2010 and Super Bowl XLV in 2011.

The billion-dollar Arlington stadium is scheduled to open in 2009. The last time the Dallas area hosted a Final Four was 1986, at Reunion Arena.
