Tigers Woods to Have New Beverage: `Gatorade Tiger'
It was just a matter of time.
Tiger Woods will officially have his own sports drink next year under a deal with Gatorade that marks his first U.S. deal with a beverage company and licensing agreement. Gatorade said that "Gatorade Tiger" will debut in March and be available in cherry blend, citrus blend and grape.

Golfweek reported last month it was for five years and could pay Woods as much as $100 million, moving him closer to the $1 billion mark in career endorsements.
Woods, who has 61 wins on the PGA Tour and 13 major championships, joins former basketball icon Michael Jordan, baseball star Derek Jeter and Super Bowl-winning quarterback Peyton Manning with Gatorade.
"His iconic nature resonates everywhere he goes," said Jeff Urban, senior vice president of Gatorade. "Bridging that iconic nature with his will to win, those things make this a big deal for us."
Anything with Tiger Woods involved is a big deal. No athlete transcends his sport like he does.
