Belichick's Sweatshirt Top Sales Charts
The "sweatshirt" continues to win.
The New England Patriots are 6-0 and running away with the AFC East once again, apparently none the worse for wear after coach Bill Belichick's spygate snafu earlier this season.
The Patriots are also winning on the retail side as Belichick's game-day sweatshirt has become the top seller in the Patriots Pro Shop, outranking even quarterback Tom Brady's No. 12 jersey, according to ESPN.
Reebok VP/NFL Merchandising Kenny Gamble said the company said to Belichick, "'Wow, coach, we have a lot of other great styles. We would love to see you outfitted in those styles.' But since he chose to wear something that he felt comfortable in, we support it."

Belichick cuts the sleeves off the sweatshirt, but Gamble said Reebok does not "have any plans to design any hoodies with cutoff sleeves." ESPN added that the sweatshirt, known as 'The Belichick,'" is such an "integral part of his mystique, the Pro Football (HOF) is hoping to add one to its display."
It can go next to his three Super Bowl trophies and a receipt for the $500,000 fine levied against Belichick by Commissioner Roger Goodell last month for trying to steal an opponent's signals using a sideline video camera.
