Torre, Managing or Not, Will Keep Bigelow Tea Post
As the New York Yankee soap opera drama of Joe Torre and his managerial future continues, one element of his future is certain.
Bigelow Tea says they have no plans to drop the mild-mannered Torre from their marketing efforts, according to the New York Post.
"We think he's a fabulous manager of the Yankees," Cindi Bigelow, president of the family-owned, Fairfield, Connecticut-based company, told the newspaper. "But whatever happens, we will still be a supporter."

Bigelow's green tea became a top-selling brand in New York after Torre said he drank five cups a day, following prostate cancer surgery in 1999. Torre's endorsement has helped the company's annual revenue reach $100 million.
Bigelow does provide the 67-year-old Torre with all the free tea he can drink as part of his deal, surely helping keep Torre even calmer amid the constant madness in the Bronx.
