NFL Now Has an Official Tire
The NFL literally keeps rolling right along.
Bridgestone/Firestone has signed a three-year agreement making it the National Football League's first official tire.
The multinational tire manufacturer has also signed on as the title sponsor of the NFL International Series, the first game being an Oct. 21 meeting between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants at Wembley Stadium in London That will be the NFL's first regular-season game outside of North America.
Richards Sports + Entertainment, part of The Richards Group, negotiated the deal and will activate it, according to the Sports Business Journal.
