Yankees Hire CAA for New Stadium Marketing Push
It's never too early to commence a marketing push, especially if you are the New York Yankees moving into a new stadium in 2009.
The Yankees have hired Creative Artists Agency to represent the team "for sales and marketing as the team prepares" to move into the new Yankee Stadium, according to the Sports Business Journal.
CAA "will assist with branding and packaging of sales offerings. I don't want to put any limits on what they will do for us," Yankees COO Lonn Trost said. "We have a global brand and we're looking for global relationships which we think CAA can work with us to create like no else."

The Yankees have been very wise through the years generating marketing deals at home and abroad, including joint-agreements with soccer giant Manchester United and Japanese construction equipment manufacturer Komatsu.
So it makes perfect sense to further build the brand at home, even when you are 26-time world champions drawing more then 4 million fans a year to your Bronx ballpark.
"It's an opportunity for a company to partner with the Yankees and say, 'We support the Yankees' decision to keep the stadium as Yankee Stadium,'" said CAA Sports co-head Mike Levin.
