Budweiser to Sponsor Kahne's No. 9 Dodge
The endless and lucrative race for Nascar sponsorship continued today with Gillett Evernham Motorsports announcing that Budweiser will be the primary sponsor for Kasey Kahne's No. 9 Dodge beginning next season, with Allstate retaining a prominent spot on the car as an associate sponsor, according to the Sports Business Journal.
Dodge Dealers has been Kahne's primary sponsor. Allstate will move into a top spot on the No. 9 car for two races next season, one of which will be the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard in Indianapolis. Bud's deal gives the brand beverage exclusivity with Kahne, which means the driver won't continue endorsing Vitaminwater.

Meanwhile, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Hendrick Motorsports are expected to announce tomorrow that Mountain Dew and PepsiCo's energy drink brand, Amp, will sponsor Earnhardt's car beginning in 2008.
