Steelers Get Their Own Plane From US Airways

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the latest professional team to expand their marketing efforts to the sky.

US Airways has dedicated a Pittsburgh Steelers jet, according to WPXI in Pittsburgh.

The mostly white Airbus A319 features a very prominent Steelers logo on his black and gold tail.

"A Steelers-themed airplane is fitting because we have fans who travel from all over the country on US Airways to see our games," Steelers Director of Marketing Tony Quatrini said.

Clearly, there's no limit to ways to get people talking about your brand, even as a member of a top-flight marketing machine like the National Football League.

Having your own jet can only help.
