Texans' Owner Giving $100 Million To Baylor College of Medicine

Impressive move by Houston Texans owner Robert McNair and his wife, giving $100 million to the Baylor College of Medicine, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The gift, made through the Robert and Janice McNair Foundation, will fund research into breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, juvenile diabetes and the neurosciences. Baylor will name the campus on which it is building its hospital and clinic for the McNairs.

McNair's net worth is $1.5 billion, according to Forbes. He has owned the NFL's Texans since their inception. The team began play in 2002. McNair also owns Stonerside Stable, a thoroughbred horse farm in Paris, Kentucky.
