Sharapova Lookalikes Cover Manhattan as Defending Champion Works in Queens

Canon is leveraging its Maria Sharapova relationship around the U.S. Open -- even though Olympus is the tournament's official camera sponsor at the National Tennis Center.

Canon had a fashion show earlier this week and on Monday and Tuesday and Sharapova lookalikes will continue to being visible on the streets of Manhattan this weekend taking photos with consumers and handing out fans to fans.

Sharapova, the 20-year-old defending U.S. Open champion, does commercials for Lake Success, New York-based Canon U.S.A for its line of PowerShot digital cameras.
