Thank God for Irony

Turns out there are ways to make some money during these trying times:

Professor Eugene Fama from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business is the first winner of the inaugural Onassis Prize, presented by Cass Business School, in recognition of his work in finance academia. Professor Fama is recognised as the father of empirical finance, and is credited with being the inventor of the "efficient market hypothesis", possibly the most influential financial theory to have impacted both academics and practitioners alike.

The Onassis Prize, sponsored by the Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, is awarded biennially and recognises a lifetime contribution by a leading academic in each of the areas of shipping, trade and finance. The winner receives prize money of $250,000.
