2000 vs. 2008

In new report titled "Are You Better Off Now Than You Were Eight Years Ago," researchers at the left-leaning Center for Economic Policy and Research look at how some key economic indicators have fared during the Bush presidency.

And, as you might have guessed, 2000 trumps 2008 -- at least in the 23 out of 25 indicators tracked by the CEPR's John Schmitt and Hye Jin Rho, :
