The New York Times reports this morning that the top three contenders to be Barack Obama's running mate are Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana, Gov. Tim Kaine of Virginia and Senator Joe Biden of Delaware.
A look over at Intrade reveals that traders are betting on Biden to land the nomination. Here are the latest prices as of mid-afternoon:
- Biden - 46.2
- Bayh - 20.9
- Kaine - 13.0
- Sebelius - 13.0
- Clinton - 8.0
And on the Republican side:
- Romney - 30.0
- Pawlenty - 30.0
- Ridge - 20.0
UPDATE
Biden says he's not the guy. His contract is down to 31.
