The Value of James Ledbetter's Insights

Pardon me for being a bit late on this, but I just happened upon James Ledbetter's critique of Portfolio titled "Why no one reads Portfolio, part 237":

There is this guy Felix Salmon. He is productive. Portfolio.com employs many bloggers, like 237 bloggers (which is more people than actually read their blogs). Amongst this competitive set, Salmon stands out, because he writes a lot and his stuff is smart - real smart - which is more than you would say about most Portfolio.com bloggers. You might say this Salmon swims upstream.

Felix has responded to Ledbetter, but since I hadn't heard of him before (and it's always fun being called stupid -- if only by implication), I thought it might interesting to see how the market values Ledbetter's insights.

At last check, you can pick up the hardcover edition of Ledbetter's 2002 2003 book Starving to Death on $200 Million on Amazon for $0.01. I just did.
