Al Gore for President?

Picking up on the InTrade meme, people voting with their money are giving Gore a better chance of capturing the Democratic party nomination than Barack Obama after Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize this morning. Gore's contract spiked from 11 to 16 after the announcement, meanwhile Obama has been in a nosedive since late July, dropping from about 40 to 11.5 this morning. While Gore has been on the uptick since bottoming out at 4 in July, both he and Obama are way behind Hillary Clinton at this point whose contract is selling close to 70.

As for Gore actually throwing his hat into the race, this AP article says the chances are "extremely remote."
