The Continuing Education Scam

Have you ever thought about going back to school to earn another degree? If your purpose is to parlay the experience into a higher paying job, it's probably a waste of your time.

A study published in the October issue of the Bulletin of Economic Research found that male British workers between the age of 33 and 42 of all educational backgrounds who earned higher degrees saw no rise in their wages. (free version)

The results suggest, as previous work has shown, that returns to education come early in life.
