Idle Chatter: 'Runway' Truce; 'Light' Extinguished

-The legal standoff over Project Runway is done. The Weinstein Co. will pay NBC Universal an undisclosed sum in exchange for the go-ahead to move the show from Bravo to Lifetime. [NYP]

-CBS is canceling the soap opera Guiding Light, whose 72-year run made it the longest-tenured TV drama on the air. [THR]

-Liberal radio host Ed Schultz is joining MSNBC's lineup with a new 6 p.m. show; David Shuster, who now hosts a politics show in that hour, is moving to the afternoon. [Huffpo]
