-New York Times executive editor Bill Keller sent a sharply-worded letter to Vanity Fair defending his boss, Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr. Keller says Mark Bowden's profile of Sulzberger was filled with "bombast," "recycled anecdotes" and "mistakes an elementary fact-checking should have caught." -Forbes staffers found the hilarious silver lining in their layoff nightmare yesterday, circulating an April Fool's Day memo from "Steve Forbes" announcing plans to sell one of his brothers to raise cash. [Recessionwire]
