Late Breaks: Cuts at 'Forbes' and 'NYT' mag, more

-Forbes is said to be laying off around 50 people; a spokeswoman tells me the magazine will have an official statement about the cuts tomorrow. [AllThingsD]

-Speaking of cuts, the budget-slimming at The New York Times looks like it will hit the Sunday magazine next, along with the City and Escapes sections. [NYO]

-Oh, and right here at Condé Nast, most of the receptionists have been let go. [Gawker]

-Long the world's biggest media company, Time Warner has dropped to No. 3 (behind Disney and News Corp.) after completing the spin-off of its cable division. [Bloomberg]

-Rush Limbaugh says he's going to sell his New York condominium rather than go along with the city's tax hike. In this real estate market, Rush? You're better off paying the taxes. [Huffpo]. □
