'NY Times' Floods Zone on Sleeved-Blanket Beat

"Perhaps you've heard of the Snuggie -- you know, the blanket with sleeves," wrote Rob Walker in The New York Times Magazine this weekend.

March 1, 2009: "Snuggie -- the fleece "blanket with sleeves" featured in the ubiquitous and oddly 1970s-style two-minute television commercial -- is enjoying its Pet Rock moment these days, prompting all kinds of newspaper stories, Snuggie parties, fan Web sites and a trend on Facebook of donning one for profile photos."

Feb. 27, 2009: "ONE of the most memorable, and parodied, of current infomercials is for the Snuggie, a blanket with sleeves whose users resemble converts to a cozy cult."

Feb. 19, 2009: "The marketing hook for the suddenly-everywhere Snuggie is that its form-fitting coziness helps you keep down your home-heating bills. "
